The Cinnamon Hill Great House has been the Jamaican home of the "The Man In Black ", legendary country music singer Johnny Cash and his wife June Carter Cash for 40 years. This Georgian inspired Great House was originally owned by the family of 19th Century poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. It was then purchased by the Cash family as their Jamaican retreat after they fell in love with the island. Experience their home frozen in time to best capture the essence of who they truly were, not as superstars but as the warm and real individuals that they were.

Once greeted, guests are introduced to their Guide who then shares information on country music greats Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Information is also shared on the history of this Georgian inspired Great House that was built in the 1700s, its former owners John Rollins and the Barrett's; the family of 19th Century poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. The tour includes a walk-through of each room of the house with background information on the antiques as well as descriptions of the Cash's family life living there. Their home is almost frozen in time, with everything left exactly how they had it, to best capture the essence of who they were.
